BNZ announces colouring competition for Plunket Annual Appeal

BNZ is delighted to announce a colouring competition to support Plunket’s Annual Appeal for 2010. The competition is open to children around the country and has been designed to highlight the importance of saving.

Each of BNZ’s 179 stores around New Zealand will choose a winning entry; with the winner receiving $25 set up in a Dynamic Money account, a BNZ piggy bank and a Plunket SuperPower Pack containing a ‘SuperHero’ kit.  Second and third places will receive a BNZ piggy bank and Plunket SuperPower Pack containing a ‘SuperHero’ kit.

Stephen Mockett, Chief Operating Officer, at BNZ says: “Helping children to learn about the importance of saving is an essential life lesson.  This competition will offer 179 children around the country the chance to make a start on saving for something that matters to them and help raise awareness of the essential work that Plunket undertakes in the community.”

Plunket CEO Jenny Prince says: “The money raised during Annual Appeal will help families and communities around New Zealand. We are very grateful that the support of our new principal partner allows us to continue with this work. This competition gives children something really fun to do with the possibility of a great BNZ prize as a reward.”

The competition runs from 15 – 26 March and winners will be drawn on 29 March.  Entries are open to children up to the age of 10 and can be picked up from any local BNZ around the country or downloaded from bnz.co.nz/plunket.
